The Behrend Cubs came out the
winners and officially took the
title of Champions of the first
Mercyhurst College Invitational
Indoor Soccer Tournament. The
tourney which took place over the
week-end of the 2nd— 3rd, saw
the Cubs defeat the Lakers 1-0 in
the finals of the round robin
event. Our lone goal was scored
by Ricky Potts. Behrend finished
up with a 3-0-2 overall record.
Mercyhurst and Edinboro
colleges finished up tying for
second place. They finished the
tournament with identical
records of 3-1-1.

Skier Race Champions

It was the Behrend skiers that with a total of 29.4 points. Second

points, and Lisa Myers with 10.
Behrend's Conference slate rose
to 2 and 1, and their overall
record to 6 and 9.
The Lady Cubs' next game is
Saturday afternoon as they take
on Grove City at Grove City.
