The Last Tuesday, host West- Cubs first defeated Kent State 15- minster picked off Behrend Cubs. 1, and 15-1, then defeated Villa The Titans picked off Behrend Maria 15-12, 15-1, 12-15 and 15-8. after opening with a 9-15 loss. The Cubs take on the Mer- They came back with a 15-7, 15-10 cyhurst Lakers today at 7:00 in and 16-14 wins. Erie Hall. Rifle Team Wins First The Behrend College rifle team, coached by Sargent Donald King of the ROTC Department, won its first match of the year Friday night, beating Clarion State College, at Clarion 1003 to 865. The 1003 score was the work of five shooters each fired shots from 3 positions and the maximum that each firer can receive is 300 pts. Mr. King, who is in his fifth year of coaching at Behrend, claiined that the 1003 tally is the most ever shot by a Behrend Team in their first match. The shooters were led by collegiate crosswor i NAME I ADDRESS i I CITY 1 STATE =ME!! Gain 2 John Lattin with 224 pts. The other firers and their scores were: Bernadette Brown 215 pts.; John Falcone, 204 pts.; Kathy Klinger, 203 pts.; and Fred Fildersleeve with 158 pts. The next match, scheduled for October 25, should be a rough one. The team will shoot against Edinboro State at Edinboro. Edinboro is ranked nationally.
