Last weekend the Behrend
grapplers, hurt by two forfeits,
fought back to tie New Ken

Julio Di Marco (118 lb.) and
Mike Kerr (126 lb.) started
Behrend off on the right foot-by
pinning their opponents in the
third and first periodi
respectively. Julio now owns a
streak of seven consecutive wins,
a Behrend Record.
New Keniington then reeled off

Hotchkiss (142 lb.). Newcombe
failed to rally in the third period,
losing a decision, and Hotchkiss
suffered a third period pin.
Hotchkiss started the match with
his usual animalistic desire and
was leading his opponent, but
while going for the pin, he
committed one error which cost
him the match.
Down 21-12, Behrend fought
back with victories by Tom
Tylman (167 lb.) Paul Jazenski
(177 lb.) and Torn Staszewski (190
lb.). Tylman recorded a 10-2
decision, while Jazenski and
Staszewski registered first period
pins. Jazenski, undefeated thus
far, has pinned 5 of his 6 op
ponents.
New Kensington tied the
match as Mike Deeb failed to
keep up the pace and fell to a
second period pin
The bibs, 2-44 on the year,
travel to Cuyahoga-West this
Saturday afternoon. Cuyahoga
finished second in the Edinboro
Tourney behind Boyce. Boyce
earlier defeated Behrend 40-8. In
the Cuyahoga match, undefeated
Di Marco and Jazenski will face
their biggest test, as they face
Tourney winners Ben Camaro and
Gary Boca.

Cowboys
NFL Champs
by Bob Hoffman
Sports Reporter
Last Sunday the Cowbois'
aream finally come through. It
took six hard fought years to
ramify be recognized as World
Champs. The Miami Dolphins
were simply outclassed by
Dallas. Dallas won by stopping
the Miami Offense, running over
the Miami Defense and refusing
to make mistakes. The Cowboys
of 1972 have to be considered a
great team by all.
On Saturday night Joe Frazier
T K O's Terry Daniels in the
fourth round. The Fight was a
definite mismatch and without
watching it you still knew who
was going to win. Frazier's next
fight might not be as easy. There
is speculation his next fight might
be in a month or two against an
unbeaten top ranked contender
George Foreman.
On Tuesday night the N.B.A.
East All Stars meet the West All
Stars in which some call the
mismatch of the year.
._
The West is coached by Bill
Sharman of L.A. who has both
Kareem Jabbar and Wilt
Chamberlain along with Jerry
West, Mike Love, and Spencer
Hawood, just to name a few. The
East is coached by Tom Heinson
of the Boston Celtics. They will
have 6' 9" Dave Cowers covering
the seven footers. Others include
John Havlichek, Billy Cun
ningham and Lou Hudson. The
West should roll on to an easy
victory.
