When asked what he learned, Eric
Hemmis said “I learned about the
different health factors that can af
fect and give you breast and testicu
lar cancer.”
When it conies to men and breast
cancer, Taylor Ackerman and
Michael Stewart both stated that
they never knew 1 % of men suffer
from breast cancer.
Not many men were willing to talk
about what they learned about tes
ticular cancer, but Autymn Maas
mentioned her take on this.
“I had to go and pay special atten
tion to the testicular cancer tables so
I could report to all of my guy
friends that were too chicken to

total success and would be more
than happy to return and do this
again... Maybe in 4 or 5 years we will
make the rounds of area colleges
again. We like to see fresh faces in
here learning.”
While talking to Rizzone, people
walked by and thanked her for com
ing and praised the volunteers work
ing at the sign in tables for providing
the experience.
Overall, it was a fun and informa
tive way to spend your afternoon
and to learn about breast and testic
ular cancer.
