On Nov. 15 the Lady Lions played in the ECAC tourna ment game against Swarth more College, a team who won the ECAC South Tour nament in 2007 and 2008. Behrend came out empty handed, but Coach Patrick O'Driscoll sees it as an ac complishment. "It was an awesome game," O'Driscoll said. Nov. 30 at Medaille - Lost - 78-69. orts selections O'Driscoll was named Coach of the Year for his hard work during the sea son and turning around the blue and white's record from 7-12-1 to 15-4-3 ending record. The AMCC First Team consisted of senior goal keeper Kayla Frost, junior defender Kelly Thill, and also freshman Valerie Wag ner. Frost was named AMCC goalkeeper of the week twice while recording a sea son total of 78 saves. Thill started in all 22 games and was a key per former on defense. Wagner was tied for the lead in goals, led the team in as sists, and also had the most points. All-AMCC Second Team Honors are sophomores Lindsey Steinsdoerfer and Heather Klimuszka, earning her first selection. Freshman Kourtney Gasparovic rounded out the second team, also earning her first selection. The third round of selec tions was the Honorable Mentions. Glennis Robash, Meredith Gipson and Jack lyn Stottlemyer earned their way to honors.
