Dan Smith, the Behrend Beacon's photographer, was stationed in South Korea for over a month during Spring Break and well into the weeks following Spring Break. As a member of the 171st Security Forces Squadron in the US Air Force and Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Smith is constantly on standby to miss weeks or months upon end of school.
