"This is my first year on the team, so I do not have any meet experiences. "We have great fans that come to our games and they are very support ive.- The volleyball team is looking to claim their third AMCC title, their last was in 2005. The team's record is 18-8 overall and 6-0 in the AMCC. Their sixth win came as they swept Medaille in three games on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Now that the preseason is finally over for the Blue and White, they look ahead to the long season before them. This season is packed with a schedule that begins on Oct. 25 against Pitt-Bradford, which starts at 1:00 p.m. at Pitt-Bradford. This is an AMCC meet the Lions need to be victorious in order to reach their goals. The Lions first home game will be held on Nov. 7 against Buffalo State at 5:00 p.m. in the Junker Center pool. According to the Behrend website. the spirits are high around the Penn State Behrend Pool, as the strong group of talented newcomers should provide plenty of depth to the talented returning roster. The Lions went on to dominate the Wolverines. scoring 19 unan swered points after a lackluster performance in the first half. Going into the game. Michigan had won nine straight games against Penn State. That streak was snapped as Penn State came from behind to clinch a decisive 46-17 victory. Daryl! Clark had a great day completing 18 of his 31 attempts for 171 yards and no intercep tions. Clark rushed for two touchdowns and threw one. The Penn State quarterback kept his composure throughout the game. leading his team to an aspiring comeback. Evan Royster, Penn State's highly regarded running hack, finished the day with 18 rushes for 174 yards and one touch down. Royster also caught three passes for 13 yards, helping the Lions both on the ground and through the air. Not to he outdone, Stephfon Green hauled in a reception of 80 yards and a touchdown. Penn State's senior wide receiver, Deon Butler. had a favorable game, coming through with eight receptions for 105 yards. Wide receiver Jordan Norwood also contributed with four receptions for 2S yards and a touchdown. Kevin Kelly. one of the most reliable kickers in the Big Ten. had a rough start when he missed a 45 yard attempt as it ricocheted off the upright. This was his sec ond miss of the season.
