Behrend soccer hosts Westminster Titans As the weather worsened throughout Saturday afternoon, the lady Lions drew much atten tion to the Behrend Fields as they faced a very tough Westminster Titans soccer team. The crowd was very support ive, even as flooding rains con tinued. In the first half of the game, the Lady Lions split time of possession with the Titans. With 2:24 left in the first half, the Titans’ Sarah Nee scored a goal to give the Titans the lead and considerable momentum going into the second half. When the teams took the field, the battle resumed, though the playing surface was beginning to resemble a swamp. The Penn State Behrend Lions tied up the game with 10:30 left on the Behrend players take the ball down the field towards the end of the game against rival Westminster. Athlete Spotlight: In the midst of his three trips to winning regions in high school, Joe Nelson knew that golf might be more than just a leisure sport. He began playing at a young age.
