Penn State Press wants Penn Staters' stories to be part of this book -- especially fond memories about different parts of campus and humorous stories about college life. Contact Penn State Press with your story, your full name and graduating-class year, and the city and state where you reside. The editors at Penn State Press will edit the stories for length and include the best ones. Fans' votes can help Mazzante pull ahead Penn State Lady Lion basketball star Kelly Mazzante is one of 10 finalists on the female slate for the third annual Bayer Advantage Senior CLASS (Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School) Award. Fan votes count for a third of the selection process, and will be accepted through March 31. The other female finalists, as picked by a national committee of sportswriters and sportscasters, are Alana Beard of Duke; Tera Bjorklund of Colorado; Chandi Jones of Houston; Nicole Ohlde of Kansas State; Nicole Powell of Stanford; Stacy Stephens of Texas; Diana Taurasi of Connecticut; Lindsay Whalen of Minnesota and Shereka Wright of Purdue. As of Thursday afternoon, Mazzante had garnered 6 percent of the total votes. SGA guides students with their scheduling On Wednesday and Thursday in the Reed Conference room 113, SGA members met with fellow students to help them plan for next semester. They want to ensure students don't get stuck later on in their college careers due to poor scheduling. Students feel that the advisers, who usually help the students, just don't have enough time to adequately help students classmen and felt they had the appropriate experience to help.
