Retreat observes Women's History Month
COOL WOMEN and the Women's/Gender Studies Minor are
holding a two-day retreat at the Bel-Aire Clarion Hotel on March
20 in celebration of Women's History month and International
Women's Day. For a $2O refundable deposit students get trans
portation, meals and a chance to discuss women's issues, watch

Storm water management is in motion
On Thursday at 11 a.m. there will be a meeting in the MISC
Studio in Kochel to discuss a water management plan to mini
mize the discharge of pollutants on campus. Dr. Thomas
Wortman and Director of Operations John Ream will work to
develop a strategy. It will include public education outreach,
involvement and participation, detection and elimination of illicit
discharges, run-off control at construction sites, post-construction
storm water management and pollution prevention, including

The Vagina Monologues come to Behrend
A participatory reading of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler
will be held March 19 at 6 p.m. in the Smith Chapel living room.
The event is hosted and sponsored by COOL WOMEN and the
Women's/Gender Studies Minor in celebration of Women's History
Month. Admission to the readings is free. Contact the Women's/
Gender Studies Minor office at 898-6392 for more information.

Student reported a vandalized vehicle in F-Lot
2/17/04 3:05 p.m. Jordan and Station Road
Traffic accident at Station and Jordan Road.
2/24/04 3:30 p.m. Ohio Lot Upper Tier
Student reported that over five vehicles in the upper Ohio Lot
were broken into. Radios and CD players were taken. It appears
that the vehicles were jimmied open or the vehicles' lock systems
were tampered with.
