Coach Cooper was impressed with all the performances this weekend, especially with the struggles that the weather causes. " The recent slight warm up has helped clear the areas where we train, but snow, ice, cold and wind have been a constant," said Cooper. "Some of the times and performances they have had are remarkable when you consider the adversity." With the strong performances this past weekend, the team can now look ahead optimistically toward the rest of the indoor season and soon, outdoor events. "We continue to work with the goal of continued improvement through the indoor season and right into the outdoor competitions," said Cooper. The teams will have three weeks between meets and then return at the Mount Union Invitational on Feb. 28. Cooper said, "Not having a meet this weekend or next weekend will give us an opportunity to get a couple full weeks of training in so I believe it will help us in most events." sports editor
