Oktoberfest Celebrated By Behrend Students
Commuter Council will be hosting Oktoberfest on
Oct. 24, 2003. This is a festival in which various clubs and
organizations will set up booths to promote themselves.
Activities and games will also be set up by Commuter
Council.
Activities include costume contests with prizes, bob
bing for apples, pumpkin bowling, dancing, tie-dying, food
and lots of fun!
The festival will take place outside the Reed Build
ing on the Reed Front Lawn. In case of rain, the festival
will take place in Reed McGarvey Commons.
All student clubs and organizations are encouraged
to participate.
Don't forget to come in costume for your chance to
win a prize!
Anyone interested in participating should contact
Julie Lafferty, Keenan Hansen or Kristen Rzomp in the
Commuter Council office at (814) 898-6452.

Garage Sale Proceeds To Benefit United Way
Do you have junk you want to get rid of? The Resident
Assistant Staff in Tiffany, Tigress and Porcupine Halls are
hosting a garage sale. All proceeds will go to the United Way
campaign.
Bring all your items to Erie Hall on today between 6
p.m. and 10 p.m.. There is no limit as to how many items you
bring in.
The garage sale will begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. and
run until 2 p.m.
