Jennifer Baumgardener and Amy Richards will
give a presentation in the McGarvey Com
mons. They wrote "Manifesta: Young Women,
Feminism, and the Future," which highlights
the third wave of the women's movement, and
strives to combat inequalities faced by women
as a result of age, gender, race, sexual orien
tation,
economic status, or level of education. They
• will bring a new point of view for both
college-age men and women about politics,
social justice, and equality in pay and
employment issues.
