On March 18, candidates will begin campaigning for the SGA
elections which will take place on April 17 and 18. Candidates are re
quired to pick up a packet from the RUB Desk that will explain all the
rules for the election. There will also be information regarding the best
ways to campaign and how to get in the Beacon a week prior to the
elections. No campaigning is allowed until the Elections Committee
notifies you and approves your eligibility. Make sure to pick up the
packet once you are notified.
Been there. Done that. What’s next? You decide.
The Student Activity Fee Committee is preparing to allocate
money for Fall 2002, and it needs your requests. Students may pick up
a Funding Proposal Request Form at the RUB Desk, the SGA Office,
the Office of Student Activities, or the Office of Student Affairs to sug
gest the uses for the available funding. Forms and additional informa
tion are also available at the Student Activity Fee web site located at
www.pserie.psu.edu/activity/saf/index.htm. To strengthen your proposal,
please provide itemized details and quotes, which are required for all
food or refreshment requests. All proposals are due at the RUB Desk by
March 15 at 5 p.m.
