Fall Commencement
Fall commencement is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec. 15, at noon in the
Junker Center. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held on Dec. 16.
More than 200 students and their families are expected to attend. A reception will be
held following the ceremony in McGarvey Commons.
On Dec. 16, Reality Check will depart for Philadelphia for Alternative Winter Break.
Work will begin on Dec. 17. Return home is Dec. 19. Community service projects
and programs will be performed over this break. Change a life, sign up at the RUB

The deadline to study abroad during the Fall 2002 semester has been extended until
January 18. Progams include: ANU, Curtin U, U of Bath, U of Sussex, U of Leeds, U
of Exeter, Universite of Exeter, Phillips Universitat, Kansai-Gaidai U, Leiden U,
Victoria U of Wellington, U of Glasgow, and Liberal Arts and International Business in
The Behrend Winter Olympics will be held Jan. 18 and 19.
Registration will be held December 3-7 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. outside of Bruno's.
Each team will have five members (teams can be coed) to compete with. Several
events will occur in which teams have a chance to win medals. The top team wins
first prize, while the top three teams will receive prizes. Events take place indoors
and outdoors. The Planet 93.9 FM will will be broadcasting the Olympic events. All
proceeds will go to benefit THON, which helps raise money for children with cancer
