The Beacon is more than happy to print all the
goings-on of the Behrend community. However,
it is the responsibility of the community
to get the information to the newspaper; not the
other way around.
With dozens of groups on campus
it is not feasible for the Calendar. Page editor
to track down every event occurring on campus.
To ensure your event is included, please send
the information to the Beacon. Include if the
event will be recurring, as in a weekly or monthly
meeting. Also, send in your information as early
as possible. While you can never contact the
Beacon too early, you can be too late.

The Studio Theatre will hold auditions for this fall's performance
of the play `Sand Mountain.'
Auditions will be held in the Studio Theatre on
Monday, Sept. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
and
Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Roles are available for five men and two women
and all are open to the public.
