The Biology Department has some new labs to work in this Fall 2000
Renovation included some new desks and chairs to make students more comfortable in class.
New ceilings and lighting have been added in Behrend’s Science Building and Upper Nick.

The Otto Behrend Science Building added new doors at the entrances to the hallways
in addition to air conditioning.
Behrend has become more handicapped accessible with an elevator
in the Reed Building.
The new observatory has broken ground behind the Science
Building.
