Wednesday, April 26: Student Government Association Meeting, 5:20 p.m. Reed 113 Take Back the Night, Reed Wintergarden 7:30 p.m A Closer Look^~^ TAKE BACK THE NIGHT 2000 Penn State Behrend will host Take Back the Night 2000 on Wednesday, April 26. Participants are asked to meet in the Reed Wintergarden at 7 p.m. for an intro ductory talk, and the candlelit walk will begin at 7:30 This year, the students involved in Women Today have decided to re-ignite interest in this important event by sponsoring the march at Be hrend. The candlelit walk through campus will include brief talks concerning issues such as date rape, counsel ing, and legal recourse for rape survivors. The event will conclude with a speak-out, when any person is invited to share her or his experience with rape or sexual assault. Counselors from Behrend will be participating in the march and will be available to talk to anyone present. Following the march will be a reception in the Reed Wintergarden.
