At Camp Challenge, students without the ROTC Basic Course can examine the Army without incurring an obligation. The Camp emphasis is hands on, outdoor training with rapid, con structive feedback to the cadet. Above all else, Camp Challenge is a leadership experience. The training program is designed to inspire students to become out standing leaders with a sound un derstanding of traditional leadership values. At Camp Challenge, students are trained to lead and develop their officer leadership potential. Stu dents interested in attending will be provided all necessary uniforms and equipment. Their tra% el, food, and lodging are also covered by the U.S. Armv. Approximately half the students attending this camp will be offered these scholarships based on performance. Students accepting the scholarship will be commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants upon graduation in the Regular Army, Army Reserves, or Army Na tional Guard upon their graduation.
