HEARTS
The Studio 'Theatre at Penn State
Behrend will hold auditions for its
spring production, Criminal Hearts,
a comedy by Jane Martin, on: Mon
day, February 7 4-5:30 p.m, Tuesday,
and February 8 5-7 p.m.
Auditions will he held at the Stu
dio Theatre. Production dates are:

Hesperus, a musical ensemble
named for Venus and the West Wind,
returns to Penn State Erie, The
Behrend College, on Tuesday, Febru
ary 8. The group's noontime program,
which is free and open to the public,
takes place in the atrium of the Reed
Union Building. Hesperus won the
first Logan Chamber Music Award for
Outstanding Educational Program
ming in 1997 with its first perfor
mance at Behrend. The trio is known
for its unique crossover style that
combines European, medieval, and
renaissance music with traditional
American folk styles.
