Jennifer Leubbert, 05 English, com mented, “I thought Stan Rubin’s per ception of time and memory was in teresting.” Reber named to new position “I am really pleased that Chris has taken this new position,” said Dr. John Lilley, provost and dean. Dr. Chris Reber has been named associ ate provost for Advancement and University Relations at Behrend. In this position his duties will be to over see all activities of the Office of De velopment and University Relations including the up-coming capital cam paign. “This is a critical moment in our development as a college, and the ■upcoming capital campaign is key to our future success. I'm delighted that the University has chosen him,” added Lilley. Lilley commented that Reber brings immense organizational skills and people skills to the task at hand. Lilley also noted that the change in title from director of Development and University Relations to associate provost for Advancement and Univer sity Relations will signal the impor tance of this role that Reber has taken to the people in the community. After receiving his Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh, he returned to Behrend in 1987 when he was named Dean of Student Af fairs. He held that position until last April, when he agreed to serve as in terim director of Development and University Relations. -Will Jordan Behrend gets new marketing major The School of Business and the School of Science at Penn State Erie each had several chaneges in theri re spective departments. The Board of Trustees approved a marketing major and minor for the School ofd Business and modifications to the physics ma jor in the Schoolof Science. Two divisions will be inluded in the physics major; general physics and computational physics. Info entered into national crime computer. 09/29/98 On duty RA called and needed assistance with what she called suspicious behavi Before I arrived she called and said they handled everything and my presence was not needed. 10/1/98 Complainant requested a male with an injured leg be checked. The male refused any treatment offered. No further action taken. 10/3/98 Warned a group of males for playing frisbee in S-lot. They dispersed without a problem. 10/3/98 Red Explorer was out of gas on the main drive. Found it in the middle of the roai I asked for assistance and we pushed it onto the side of the road. They got gas and by 3:30a.m. it was moved. 10/4/98 Report of auto accident on Cooper Road at the bottom of the hill. Checked and found one car accident with no injuries. Remained until PSP arrived.
