    Reservoir Dogs bites
David Young

When the Erie Roadhouse
Theatre’s production of Reservoir
Dogs let out, one could hear con
tradicting opinions from the crowd.
I thought it was really, really
good,” proclaimed one woman
walking out of the theatre. “Well it
killed a couple of hours anyway,”
replied her husband.
However, it seemed like there
really wasn’t a majority opinion
about the show. So, you’re either
going to have to go on instinct or
take my word for it.

The newest pub in our fair city
is quite impressive. The Fox and
Hound opened one month ago in the
Millcreek Mall beside Lenscrafters.
It boasts thirty-four beers on tap, and
has over one hundred different beers
to choose from in all. The list in
cludes beer from Murphy’s Irish
Stout, to Pretzel City Belgian White.
There is a very pleasant room, the
Green Room, set aside for cigar
smokers, and the Fox and Hound’s
cigar selection is unmatched by any

Joe Cabot, played by Flo Fabrizio,
needs seven guys to pull off a big
diamond heist. Cabot makes the
mistake of not checking out his rob
bers carefully enough, and one of
them turns out to be an undercover
cop. Obviously this complicates
things.
Reservoir Dogs is not a show
you would want to take your mother
to. If the plot sound interesting,
you’ll probably like the show be
cause of the comedy involved.
Fabrizio plays a funny character and
does a great job. Mr. Pink, played
by Mark Gardner, is also one of the
bright spots in the play, delivering
some funny lines. Aside from the
humorous script and a few talented

atmosphere was very pleasant, the bar
is custom cut and quite beautiful, as
is the woodwork. With twenty-eight
televisions, customers will most
likely be able to watch anything they
want. The billiard tables are full-size,
and are rented by the hour.
As for the menu, there is quite
a selection of appetizers. I had the
Spanish artichoke heart dip with the
Fox and Hound’s own homemade
chips, which was excellent. As far
as entrees go, I had the Vodka

Moves up and
performers, the show left much to
be desired.
Reservoir Dogs has such a
funny script that the actors should
have the audience laughing
throughout the play, but they don’t.
Some of the lines were choppy,
which is unexpected in a theater like
The Roadhouse. Also, the show
starts at the bank robbery, and then
goes back in time to show the events
leading up to the heist. This is a
real tough task to accomplish on
stage, allowing the audience to be
come confused.
All in all I give the script four
stars, but the play two. I definitely
recommend the movie before the
play.
Shrimp, an exceptional pasta dish.
The unique blend of marinara, vodka
and cheese was so good that I’m sure
to order the same on my next visit.
The only dissapointing aspect of my
visit was that there were no steaks
available. Due to a franchise agree
ment, the pub cannot sell steaks for
a year or so, and subsequently the
wine list is nonexistent until the
menu is expanded to include steaks.
All in all, the Fox and Hound is one
of the best bars in Erie.
