John Frohnmayer, former chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, and Dr. David S. Touretzky, Carnegie Mellon professor and research scientist, will meet at noon Wednesday, November 5 in a debate that is sure to spark controversy. Her appearance continues the Creative Writers Speaker Series. Behrend's first sorority on campus, Alpha Sigma Alpha, was installed on October 27, 1987. This week they celebrate ten years at Behrend. In recognition of this day, Alpha Sigma Alpha is currently planning an alumnae weekend brunch with the national president, Suzanne Kilgannon Preston. They will also be holding their annual formal, "The Crimson Ball." The Student Government Association will be holding an open forum on Wednesday, November 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Reed 117. Her two children, Steven and Kayla, really enjoyed designing their own trick-or-treat bag and painting their own pumpkin. Thanks to all of those students residing in the residence halls that passed out candy to the children.
