Although the team features several youngsters it was the three seniors on the team that contributed the most. #4 seed La Roche College #3 seed Pitt-Bradford Lara Herrmann had a big day recording two goals, the second coming off of an assist from fellow senior Shawn Morelli. Senior goalie Mary Ann Rupp withstood the Buffalo State offense to preserve the win for the Lady Lions. Jen Bargiband added the final goal for Behrend helping them notch their twelfth win of the year. The win was an extremely important tune-up for the up coming AMCC championships that the Lady Lions will be hosting this weekend. After losing last Saturday to Brockport 3-1 Behrend needed to win a game to build some momentum heading into the AMCC tournament. Freshman Beth Cummings scored the Lady kickers lone goal in the loss to Brockport. If Perritano's team can defeat a struggling Laßoche squad on Saturday they will most likely face a powerful Frostburg State unit for the AMCC title. Two more victories will complete an undefeated conference season and give the Lady Lions 14 wins on the year. The conference championship would be the second title for Behrend during the fall season ko , ' 1/ 1/ \K --iN -- --iN - ---#N - -7 N * il Le 1,- ... - "I N 1e - 1,- 1,-- ke -/N - -7\ --AN --AN Behr With sympathy from all of us The answer is yes.
