Page 8 "An Erie Tradition since 1905" by Eddie Edwards Collegian Staff If you are in the mood for some social drinking and dancing, I have found just the place for you. It is Sullivans’ Pub located at 301 French Street in Erie. Sullivans is a nice mix of a restaurant /bar during the week with a nightclub flavor on weekends. Sullivans is decorated with Irish memorabilia from yesteryear. Co-owner Ron Filippi described the bar as "an Irish pub with a nostalgic theme." Sullivans offers a wide variety of specials during the week which are conducive to the college student's budget. Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays are 2 for 1 wing night. Pitcher and bottled beer specials are also offered on these nights. What better way to start the weekend then with live bands on Friday nights. That is followed up with "Theme Night" on Saturdays. Long Island Ice Tea seems to be the crowd favorite. To finish the weekend, stop by on Sunday for "TV satellite day." If you and a group of friends want to watch a particular football game, Sullivans will put it on for you. The six monitors allow for everyone to be accommodated.
