Phone directories will be distributed to all students free of charge. Those who have
already purchased a directory may return their books to the RUB desk for a refund.
"How to Do a Government Job Search" workshop will be held today at noon in the
Reed Conference Room. It is being sponsored by the Career Development Center.
The Behrend Rifile Club is sponsoring a free Pennsylvania hunters safety course for
both the public and Behrend students. Potential students must attend all three sessions. The
first meeting is today from S:3O-7 p.m. This session is optional for Behrend students only.
The second and third meetings will be bold on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 from 5-
10:30 p.m. All meetings will be held in the Reed Lecture Hall. Call to reserve your place at

The History Club will be sponsoring Dr. John Rossi's lecture, "To End the War:
Woodrow Wilson, Radio, andtahe End of World War 1” tonight at 7 p.m. in Science 117 as
part of its lecture series, "Past, Present, and Future: History Club Lecture Series."
You are summoned to the Reed Lecture Hall, room 117, Monday, Nov, 7 at 8 p.m. Meet
Honorable Judge Fisher and witness a live enactment of the actual proceedings that occur
following a DUI arrest. Refreshments will be served following the trial.
Peace Corps Opportunities will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 12:15-1:00 p.m. in
the Reed Conference Room. Physics instructor Jonathan Hall will talk about Peace Corps
opportunities after graduation and about his own experiences with the Peace Corps in
Malaysia.
Women Today would like to invite you to attend the Feminism FOrum on Tuesday, Nov. 8
at 7 p.m. in the Reed Lecture Hall. Questions that will be addressed include: what is a
feminist? Is feminism only for women? Does feminism promote abortion? Does feminism
advocate superiority far women?

television and newspaper will be featured.

USA Today is seeking nominations for the nation's best and brightest college students for
its All-USA Today 1995 Academic Team. $2,500 cash prizes possible. All undergraduates

Police and Safety Report
October 27: A student received a citiation for driving across the
grass in “S” Lot.
October 28: A student reported being the victim of harassment
in the residence halls.
October 29: A cab driver reported that his fare left without
paying. An investigation by Police and Safety has found a

October 30: Two non-students were given citations for

October 31: A staff member reported a possible break-in to an
electronic cabinet Nothing was taken.
Correction: In last week’s intramural
article, it was printed that the $5 bowling fee for
the Nov. 12 intramural bowling tournament
would be charged to an entrant’s student
account. The $5 fee will not be charged to
students’ accounts. Those entered in the contest
will have to pay the $5 bowling fee at the lanes.
