Health aad Wellness Sponsors Speaker: On Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m.
in the Reed Lecture Hall, Roy Kerry, M.D., will speak on “New Advances in the
Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome."
The program is free of charge and will be of great interest to all people who suffer die
problems listed in the tide. Reservations are not required.
Psi Chi Convention Speaker: Dr. Robert B. Cialdini, Regent’s professor of
psychology at Arizona Slate University, will discuss the psychological pressures that
cause people to agree with a request, and how to resist or harness those pressures during
his lecture, ”1116 Psychology of Influence” on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Dobbins
Dining Hall.
Spanish Scholar Here Next Friday: Dr. Soledad Ortega Varela will speak (in
English) on "Post-Franco Spain” in two Spanish classes next Friday, April 22. The
classes meet at 9 ajn. and noon in 148 Academic Building.
Honors and Awards Ceremony: will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24 in Erie
Hall. Outstanding students, faculty and staff will be honored at this time.
Spring Choir Concert: The Behrend Choir will be presenting thier spring concert
with a potpourri of styles, eras, and languages at 3 pjn. on May 1 in the Wintergarden.
Tickets are $3. Reservations can be made by calling x6lOB.
Workstndy Applications Due Tomorrow: Applications for on and off campus
summer workstudy are available in die Financial Aid Office. Deadline to apply is
tomorrow at 5 pm.
'94 Sommer Session: Currently registered students in degree and provisional
status may now advance register for Penn State-Behrend summer session courses. The
new voice response system may be used according to instructions in the 1994 Summer
Session Schedule of Classes available in the College Registrar's Office.
Attention Graduating Seniors!: Commencement tickets to be used in case of
indoor ceremonies are available for pickup at the College Registrar’s Office from April
13-22.
Attention Returning Adult Women: The Zoom Club of Erie is offering a $730
scholarship for die 1994-93 school year. Applications are available in the Financial
Aid Office. Deadline is May IS.
Free HIV/AIDS Testing: will be offered this semester by appointment at the
Health and Wellness Center located in the Carriage House. All testing is strictly
confidential. Funding for this service is made possible by a grant from the Equal
Opportunity Planning Committee of the Pennsylvania State University and Roche

A student reported that someone had damaged his
vehicle, which was parked in Niagara parking lot,
sometime between April 3 and April 8. The case is
under investigation.
Wednesday, April 13
A student in Niagara Hall repotted receiving
harassing telephone calls. The case is under
investigation.

after a student requested assistance for a back inju:

Police and Safety officers assisted Brookside EMTs aft
a student requested assistance because of a reaction
after taking some medication.
It was reported to Police and Safety that a student had
threatened to commit suicide. After an extensive
search and investigation into the matter by both the
offices of Police and Safety and Student Affairs, the
individual was found unharmed.
