The Behrend volleyball club was recognized for their great play, and was rewarded by being selected to go to the East Coast Regional Cham pionship in Maryland. All the great volleyball clubs throughout the east coast were there. "This year the team is looking as good or maybe even better than last year's team," said president of the team Senior Dave Hoffman. Hoffman continued, "we are all physically ready. We only lost three of our players from last year's team, and gained many great ones for this year's squai" This year's team consists of 13 players presently, but that could change before the season actually starts. The club will be holding a pre-season tournament at Behrend on November 28 to raise money for their sawn The club's regular season will start off in late January. They will be playing teams like Gannon, Edinboro, and Pittsburgh. Like last year, if the team finishes first in their division, they will make the playoffs and earn a right to play in Maryland. = ; E n " a' AgAvip. .
