National AIDS Awareness Month: October is
National AIDS Awareness Month. To enhance the
campus awareness of this important month, the Health
and Wellness Center is providing FREE red ribbons.
Anyone interested in having a red ribbon to wear may
come to the Health and Wellness Center during our
regular hours on Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. toy 10
p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Behrend Ally Day: On October 11, Trigon is
celebrating National Coining Out Day by sponsoring
Behrend Ally Day. There will be an art show in the,
Wintergarden from 10 a.m. to 4 pasklA free movie will
be shown in the Reed Lecture Higia 7 p.m. followed by
a reception in the Wintergarden. Snacks and
refreshments will be served.
FBI Visit: On October 12, a representative from the
FBI will visit Behrend. A table will be set up on the first
floor of the Reed Union Building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Blood Drive: will be held on October 13 and 14 in the
Wintergarden from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is co
sponsored by Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Health and
Wellness Center and the Health and Wellness Coster:
Miss Saigon Tickets: are on sale until October 15.
Theater tickets must be paid for in fell by the 15th. Also,
a $25 deposits due to reserve a seat on the bus. The full
price for the trip itself is $65 per person for hotel and bus
costs. Miss Saigon tickets range from $2O to $9l. The
trip is scheduled for March 26 and 27. Applications and
information can be obtained in the Olennhill Farnham at
the reception desk,

Harassment
On Thursday, September 23, a non-student was following a student around campus
begining at 12:30 p.m. The incident is under investigation.
Theft
On Sunday, September 26, several cassette tapes were stolen from a car parked in Niagara
lot around 7:30 p.m. The incident is under investigation.
Theft
On Tuesday, September 28, someone took four wheel hubs from a car in the Turnbull
parking lot between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The incident is under investigation.
Theft Attempt
On Tuesday, September 28, several persons attempted to enter the trunk of a vehicle using
a crowbar-type instrument at the B Lot between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The incident is under
investigation.
Person Stuck in Disabled Elevator
On Tuesday, September 28, a person was stuck in the elevator between the first and secon
floors of the new library. Police and Safety was able to get the person out from the second
floor using the emergency hatch in the roof of the elevator car.
Theft from Auto
On Thursday, September 30, someone smashed a car's left rear door windows with an
unknown tool, entered the vehicle, and removed the compact disc player from the S-lot
around 10 p.m.
Underage Drinking
On Saturday, October 2, five students were caught in the woods with alcohol around
midnight. The students were informed that they will not be cited but they will be referred

On Saturday, October 2, two roomates had a fight and assulted each other outside of
Hammermill around 2 p.m. They were referred to Student Services.
Theft of Parking Permit
On Saturday, October 2, a person made a fake PSU parking permit and displayed it. The
person was charged with theft by deception and theft of services.
Public Drunkenness
On Sunday, October 3, a non-student was given a citation for public drunkenness when he
was observed staggering around the S-lot at 2:10 a.m. The person was given a citation.
Harassment by Communications
On Sunday, October 3, a student received several hang-up phone calls around 10 p.m. Th
incident is under investigation.
Fire
On Monday, October 4, an unknown subject discarded a cigarette butt into a trash bag pile
in Lawrence lobby around 3 p.m. The cigarette shortly smoldered into a fire. The fire was
extinguished by students in the lobby. The incident is under investigation.
Scattering Rubish
On Monday, October 4, a known person depostied a bag of trash in S-lot at 12:20 p.m.
Charges have been filed. .
