This Saturday, February 6th,
the Student Programming
council (SPC) will hold its
annual Snowball Dance in the
Wintergarden, fast floor Reed
Building. The themes will be
"Stairway to the Stars".
The Snowball is an
opportunity for students to get
dressed up, kick back, and have
fun. There will be food and
beverages, and Ed Falconer will
be the disc jockey.
Tickets can be purchased in
the Reed Building, second floor,
outside the Wintergreen Cafe.
They are $7.00 per single,
$12.00 per couple. Tickets can
also be purchased the night of
the dance for $9.00 per single
and $14.00 per couple.
The king and queen of the
Snowball will be elected this
week and crowned at the dance.
Students may vote for king and
queen where they purchase the
tickets.
"The main purpose of the
Snowball Dance is for the
students to have fun in a formal
setting," said Joel Adams,
president of SPC. "It's the
college version of a high school
prom."
"We want to give
a reason for girls
to wear their prom
dresses again
and for people to
get closer to
those they care
about."

"We (SPC) want to give a
reason for girls to wear their
prom dresses again and for
people to get closer to those
they care about," said Pam
