Temperatures definitely fitted the season, with extremely cold wind chills forcing the students to change into their winter clothes and bundle up. Snowballs in Februa by April M. Bogdanski Collegian Sri This Saturday, February 6th, the Student Programming council (SPC) will hold its annual Snowball Dance in the Wintergarden, fast floor Reed Building. The themes will be "Stairway to the Stars". The Snowball is an opportunity for students to get dressed up, kick back, and have fun. There will be food and beverages, and Ed Falconer will be the disc jockey. Tickets can be purchased in the Reed Building, second floor, outside the Wintergreen Cafe. They are $7.00 per single, $12.00 per couple. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the dance for $9.00 per single and $14.00 per couple. The king and queen of the Snowball will be elected this week and crowned at the dance. Students may vote for king and queen where they purchase the tickets. "The main purpose of the Snowball Dance is for the students to have fun in a formal setting," said Joel Adams, president of SPC. "It's the college version of a high school prom."
