lent monthly publication for May is on
our table. It has its usual variety of

Musical. We learn that an effort
is being made to get up a class to take
lessons in mush in Ridgway, and are
informed that if ten pupils are procured,
a teacher will come.
Wintry. No doubt even the deni
zens of our mountainous, almost Green
landish county, were surprised to find
lrom three to four inches of snow on the
ground yesterday morning.
Mad Doo.. Joseph George, of Fox
township, about a week ago, was horribly
bitten by a dog, supposed to be mad,
owned by John Myers. The dog was
soon captured and killed.
