DEATII.—Death is a mystery. We

time and manner of our death cannot

and the beautiful. Our neighbor falleth
by our side; just'as we learned to apreci

We follow our friends to the grave, and
turn as anxious as ever to engage in the

agent of this place writes of a mysterious incident
which occurred in that place, in relatien to an ex•
cellent young lady, but who. unfortunately pos.
sassed a very repulsive complexion. -Her face,was
covered with pimples,- blotches, pustules.—her
skin dark and yellow, eracked.and chapped—her
lips in cold weather would become sore and bleed:
She had, however, 'seVeref . good traits, one of

the cure of Piles, I' have deemed- it my duty to
volunteer a recommendation in behalf of that in

began to consider my case utterly - hopelese. But
