Churches Plan
Special services
The Presbyterian Church starts
its Christmas program Saturday
night, December 14, when the
lArestrhinster Foundation Board of
Trustees will give a dinner for
the student members. Following
the dinner the annual Westmin
ster Foundation Christmas party
will be held. The 17th annual
Fellowship Candle Light Service
will be held at the Presbyterian
Church at 6:30 p. m. on the fol
lowing Sunday. The Foundation
is also planning an early morning
breakfast just before students go
home on Saturday, December 21.
The Wesley Foundation is plan
ning for a group of student carol-.
lers to sing Christmas songs at
the homes of those who are sick
and unable to get out on. Decem
ber 18. On the same day there
will be a Christmas play put on
by the student group at the Met
odist Episcopal Church. On. Fri
day, December 20, the Wesley
Foundation will hold a Christmas
party in the Methodist gym.
The Lutheran Student Associa
tion -will have a student supper at
5 p. m. December 15 at the Grace
Lutheran Church. Following the
supper they will hold a regular
carol and worship service.
On the same Sunday evening
tlfere will be a supper held at the
Friends Meeting House.

Lead Christmas Chapel Program

.chapel scheduled in Schwab Audi
torium at 3:30 p.. m. Sunday, December 15. Professor Grant will
have charge of the choir which will deliver a special program. Prof.
Frizzell, as College chaplain, will be responsible for the devotional
part of the service..

Following a custom of many
years, the' College Choir of 110
voices, under the — direction of
Prof. Richard W. Grant, will pre
sent its annual Christmas Vesper
Service in, the Auditorium at 3:30
p. m. Sunday, December 15.
A new feature of the service,
will be the presentation of two
numbers by the Glee Club. They
will sing "Alleluia," by Bach and
"The Christ Child" by Cornelius.
The latter number includes a so
prano obligato to be sung by
Edith . A. Burrage '4l.
The service will be under the
general supervision of Chaplain
John H. Frizzell. _

PSCA Plans Service
After Carol Sing
The PSCA will hold its annual
Christmas service, it was an
nounced yesterday by Ann M.
CivittS '42, chairman of the com
mittee- in charge of the program.
The program will take the form
of a candlelight worship service
with songs, talks, and a medita
tion period. One of the features
of the hour will be songs by Mir
iam R. Rhein '43.
The committee has decided to
hold the services on the same eve
