Quiet Ceremonies Mark the Event
Held Last Evening at
Bride's Home
Mr. and Mrs. Hamburg, of 4611
Franklin avenue. Philadelphia, an
nounce the marriage of their daugh
ter, Miss Esther Hamburg, to Charles
H. Michaels, son of Mrs. F. Jossel, of
320 Reily street, this city.
The ceremony took place last even
ing at the bride's home, with only the
immediate relatives of the young
couple in attendance.
The bride wore an exquisite white
satin gown and carried bride roses
and lilies of the valley. There were
no attendants. She is a graduate of
the Philadelphia high school, class of
1912, and a finished musician.
Mr. Michaels, a former resident of
both Harrisburg and Steelton, is man
ager of a wholesale grocery in the
Quaker City. After an extended wed
ding trip Mr. and Mrs. Michaels will
be "at home" to their friends in their
newly furnished house at 2329 Wood
stock street, Philadelphia.
Among the guests last evening were
the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Jossel,
and his brother, H. P. Michaels, both
of Harrisburg.
REMOVE TO VVILKINBBURG
William VanCou v tlandt Brandt, of
Wilkinsburg, was a recent guest of
Mrs. S. R. Coover, 312 North Second
street, enroute to Philadelphia. Mrs.
Brandt, who was formerly Miss Sara
Coover of this city, has removed with
her husband from Germa/ntown to
Wilkinsburg.
Miss Mary E. Beatty, of 1406 North
Second street, is visiting in Newark,
N. J.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Faatz and
Miss Nellie Faatz have gone home to
Richmond, Va., after spending ten
days with relatives in this cits'.

Boas street, left to-day for a visit at
Chicago and Elkin, 111., and Lockport,
N. Y., exrecting to remain away for
six weeks.

is home after treatment at the Penn
sylvania Hospital, much improved in
health.

green street, has returned home after
a two weeks' visit with relatives in
Lancaster and New Holland.
