Accidentally shot.—A son of Mr. George
Smith, of Canoe township, Indiana county.

Terrible Aeeldttit.—A. horrible accident
occurred at the saw mill of Thomas Liston,
Esq., in Addison township, Somerset Conn
ty, on Saturday the 15tit Inst. William Lon
hart, a young man of twenty-two Years, am
yiloyed at thu mill, clambered on the top of
the crater-wheel for the purpose of cutting
away the ice which clogged it. The wheel,
which revolved below in a stone-wallet pit,
suddenly started, harrying the unfortunate
man down With It, tearing head from his body
as it dashed into tile pit.

that tne contmlttte of the Fast Army Corps,

place a bronze statue of General Reynolds in
the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, and not
