It is seldom that death Ands a more shining mark
than in the ease of HANNAH W., wife of F. W.
ELL/B—a true woman, friend, and Christian. She
was ever ready to extend a helping hand to the
needy and suffering in such an unobtrusive manner,
that all knew and felt that it came from a pure
heart.
The writer of this (nearly forty years ago) expe
rienced her soothing care and kindness around his
.bed of sickness, administered, with sisterly tender
ness, such as the ,good-hearted only can bestow and
from that time has ever remembered her with a
grateful heart—has often since heard of her acts of
tender kindness to other strangers; and now sin
cerely trusts that God will grant to her departed
spirit the promised rest of the true Christian.

ACUTE PAIN INSTANTLY RELIEVED.
So many thousands are already acquainted with
my mode of operating, It seems necessary only to
say that by this method an eryttilibrillin of the vital
powers is at since establiSileu, and au equalization
of the circulation maintained; thus Nature is ens•
bled to throw off the effete matters which generate
and foster disease, and health at once ensues.
From one to frre minutes are required for the most
inveterate cases of any curable Chronic Disease.
In many Instances a single operation of one , minute
Is sufficient. In rare Instances of exceedingly obsti
nate character, a second or even a third operation
may be required. No exception to Fractures, Dis
locotions, Curvature of the Spine, or Suppurating
Tumors.
The diseases which yield most readily to the cura
tive agency of this method, as praetieed by me, are
Dyspepsia,Constiptition,Asthrua, Angina Pectoris,
Chlorosis, Loss of Voice, Rheumatism, Rheumatic
Gout, Liver Disease, Diseases of the Binary Pas

Paralysis, Consumption, and General Dropsy are
the most slow and mieertain with this treatment.
Patients afflicted with these have rarely been re
