with the trees torn by Bhell sand countless ballets, and
its long lines of earthwork defences, have all heen pre
served intact, and to so continue to preserve them, as to
be & monument torevei of the greatest of American

March tr September, as the case may he. until the day
of subscription and payment.
Upon the receipt of Subscriptions I wlllfißSuemy Certi
ficates of Deposit therefor, in duplicate, the original of
whieh will be forwarded by the subscriber to the Sesre
tary of the Treasury, Washington, with a letter stating
the kind (Registered or Coupon), and the denominations
of Bonds issued.
Upon the receipt .of the Original Certificates at the
Treasury Department, the Bonds subscribed for will be
transmitted to the subscribers respectively, as soon as
