A gold medal was awarded the Company by the
American Institute, at New York, in 1867.
The Company also received the first premium—a gold
medal—from the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, in
IMS,
These Watghqs po\y been in the market for
neariy ten years, during whioh time they have been
tested as to accuracy, durability, and reliability m every
conceivable manner, and have proved themselves to be
the most s&tlgfaptofy time-pieces ever offered fci the
public*
result h&s been brought abant by a stylet applica
tion of meohauical ao\enoe to (ho construction of the
Watch from its very inception, rendering it when
finished, mathematically oonect in all its proportions,
and necessarily a* perfect a time-keeper as it is possi

The Company have tested iheir Watohes In many in
stances by actual daily noting, and the result of this
test has been that they have exhibited a rate equal m
regularity to the best marine ohronometer.
N. B.—We have just introduced a neto tiyle of Watoh,
elaborately finished, and thinner than any we have
hitherto produced, with several improvements calcu

and to prevent the usual acoidents and derangements to
which foreign watches are liable.

Mr. It. E. Robbins, Treasurer, ire.
Dear Sir: Since my note to yott*of September, 1869, I
