The elatikiweter navigation on the rdneklegum river,
known as the Milskingilin Improvement, is ninety-one
miles in length, end extends from Marlette and gar
aim on the Ohio river, to Breeden, where it conneete
with a side cut of the Ohio Canal, two miles long.
The Ohio canal leads from Cleveland, on Lake Brie,
to Cortamotith,'on the Ohio river, and ii three hundred
and nine miles long; at Roscoe; one hundred and
thirty-five miles from Cleveland, it counsels with the
Walhonding Caniil ; at WebbePott, one hundred and
forty nine miles from' Cleveland, the Bearden tide out
common, it with the Maskingurn Improvement, and' at
Carroll, two hundred and four miles from Cleveland, it
co aphis with the Hooking Canal.
The Hooking Caneli fittpsix miles long, is connected
with the Ohio Canal, st Carroll, and terminates at_
Athens.
From ROMS, the Walkendleg Canal extends twenty ,
three mita, where it terminates in a slaok•weter pool
of the Mohican river, which resoshei two miles above
the head of the canal.
Connoted with them lintel of canals are various feed•
ere, basins,side cute, reservoirs, slips, and Mack-water
pools, ech are the property of tne State, and form
part of the section 'with which they conned,. The
