HOW SOUTH BROAD STREET LOOKS ON A "BIG DAY"
The Army-Navy game brought probably 15,000 visitors to the city on Saturday and most of them amused themselves before and after the game by paradinr up and
down the city's principal thoroughfare between the City Hall and Pine street. In this they were joined by many thousands of residents of both sexes who turned out
to see the pretty women and admire the new winter styles in clothes. The traffic around Broad and Chestnut str eets gave the police hard work.

WHAT REMAINS OF THE CHURCH AT REMSCAPPELLE
Most Belgian towns of the size of Remscappelle have one old church which
towers above the others and dominates the neighborhood. Virtually all of
these have met the fate illustrated above. Only the. window frames remain.

GERMAN REGIMENTS BAKERY PREPARING DINNER
With characteristic Teutonic thoroughness, the Kaiier's armies took the field at the outbreak of war with com
pletely equipped kitchens, whose fires are kept going even when the troops are on the march. Numerous
German cooks have received the Iron Cross for their bravery in carrying food to the outlying trenches.
