3 large scoops vanilla ice
cream
Put above ingredients in a
mixing bowl and beat until
the ice creams half melted.
Serve at once. Makes three to
four servings.

V 2 cup chocolate syrup
V 4 cup malted milk powder
2 cups chilled milk
1 large scoop vanilla or
choco’ate ice cream
Dash of salt
Shake or beat "until well

At Safe Harbor
Farm Women’s Soc. 12
met-Tuesday at Safe Harbor
park for a family picnic,
covered-dish style, with 44
persons present.
Plans were completed for
a group bus trip to Washing
ton, D.C. on Oct. 21st. Mem
bers will visit the 'White
House, Capitol building,
Smithsonian Institute and
the Mint.
All members desiring to
take part .must make reser
vations during or before the
September meeting.
There will be no Soc. 12
meeting in August.

ported on the Society 14 and
13 June visit to the Lancast
er Coupty Home. Members
treated those at the home to
ice cream and crackers.
A one-day bus trip to the
Poconos was voted for Octob
er.
Miss Meriam Leaman led
the devotional period. The
program featured a review
of the book, “Papa’s Wife”
by Miss Lillie Ann Werner
of Lancaster.
Members voted to have a
family picnic at 6:30 p. m,
August 12 at Paradise Mem
orial Park.
