Our carnation sale with the Chorus went well and we ’re planning a basketball game with our faculty against the Mews Crew from WYOU TV 22 in March. We are also planning on helping The Greater Hazleton Cancer Society Telethon in late February. Look for our feature story in the Hazleton Standard- Speaker about our being the only established Pep Band among the other Commonwealth Campuses. We are also believed to be one of only a handfull of Pep Bands in two year colleges nationwide. Mew members are always welcome! Christine o’Brien SUB President SUB membership is up, meetings are good, and Best Buns 11 was a success. I would like to thank WHCB and all the SUB members who helped. SUB and ROTC will be presenting The Valentines Dance on Feb. 14 to help Hazleton Campus celebrate. Remember, SUB meetings are Tue. 12:15 in the Commons. Collegian Co-Editor Todd Niziol Are there any other Journalism majors at Penn State Hazleton? We at the Collegian are in desperate need of writers. I find it very hard to believe that we are the only students interested in Journalism as a career. If there are Journalism majors out there, we need you now. Mew members are a must since there are only five members on staff. We are going to have weekly meetings at 12:00 on Mondays. These meetings will be in the Collegian office in the Lower Commons. Mew members are always welcome and Journalism Majors ought to get involved before they head up to U-Park!
