Sixteen high school students and their advisors from six different high schools at tended the function. The club's officers are Philip Voystock and. Chris McNab. Other members include: Otis 'Gallagher, Judd Buskirk, Anne Cormier and Bob Tier. Parnassus Although Parnassus is not the most active group on campus, it consists of the "doers" of the cam pus. The members must be involved in at least two other recognized ac tivities on the Hazleton Campus, and maintain a 2.5 cumulative average to remain in the club. Be ing a member of Par nansus is recognition of outstanding achieve ment. All Parnasus members will become a part of the Keystone Honor Society when they transfer to University Park. On April 15, 1982, the club inducted 21 new members, four of which will be officers next year. Eric - Riedinger, President; Lori Folk, Vice-President; Diane Fisher, Secretary; and Roxanne Franck, Treasurer, will be giving up their positions to Rosemarie Cistone, Alan Smith, Sue Hower, and Terri Eroh respectively. The club members conducted a Book Sale this year and contributed half their proceeds to the Highacres Library. The ever-growing member ship of this club is a reflection of the high values placed upon academics and social ac tivities at the Highacres 'Campus. ACV The Hazleton Campus Video Club (HCV) was quite active this year as it worked towards the success of raising $66,000 , for the American Cancer Society's Telethon. The Club also raised $l,OOO for their own operation 'by holding a television auction. HCV was responsible for the Daily Report given on the Highacres Campus, as well as a weekly pro gram held in downtown Hazleton. Members of HCV were guest speakers at the Pennsylvania Scholastic Press Association Con vention for High School Students. Some of the members of HCV who deserve special recogni tion for their hard efforts RHC The Residence Hall Council deserves recognition for the many contributions it has made in providing com 'fort and recreation for the dormitory residents. The car wash they held allowed them to pur chase Home Box Office for the main lounge, as well as a pool table and ping pong equipment. The group also organized an "Anything 'Goes" event, which was spon sored by Pabst Blue Rib- ' bon Beer. The earnir.gs went to the Big Brother, Association. RHC also Compendium 2 and accomplishments entail, Joe Krushinsky for "creative produc tiveness," Steve Zarick for being the "outstan ding First Year Man," and Jerry Trently and Jane Bugda for serving 'as an "energetic News Team." The crew was run under the leadership of Joe Krushinsky, Presi dent; Steve Zarick, Vice- President; Bill McV augh, Treasurer, and Lori Emerich, Secretary. The other members of the staff in clude: Bob Tier, Mark Anton, Tim Swarr, Tom Swarr, Carol Clanton, Alita Rovito, Terry Mc-, Carthy and Jeff Schroeder. organized a "Gong Show" and the Hallo ween Dance. Some members which merit special attention for their hard work are Tony Leshinski, Dave Albright, • Debbie Cassano and Dee Hart +men, President. Other 'members of RHC in clude: Chris Taylor, Treasurer; Leslie Hughes, Secretary; Rosemarie Cistone, Don na Spengler, Sue Hower, Cathy Garrity, Jeff Recker, Gwen Toevs, and Lori Folk.
