Drama Club Production to be
Come one, come all to this year’s Fall
Drama Production, “The Imaginary Inva
lid”, by Moliere. The play will be presen
ted October 26 through October 29 at 8:00
p.m. in the Highacres Commons.
Behind the scenes are: Director, Mr.
Breckenridge; Assistant Director, Ran
dine Matthews; Producer, Mr. White;
Assistant Producer, Keller Taylor; Light
ing Director, Dr. Or bin; and Dr. Frankel,
Mrs. Moyer and various students assisting
with the production.
“The Imaginary Invalid,” Moliere’s last
play, is one of prose and broad comedy. It
is a satire on the power of jargon,
especially medical jargon. It moves from
the restrictiveness of Argon’s (the imagin
ary invalid) household to the complete
release in a farcical closing ceremony.
The set abounds with enema syringes and
double meanings. If the play proves to be
as funny iri full production as in rehearsal
form, this is one play you should not miss.
Students participating in the production
are cast as follows; Paul Irwin as Argon,
the imaginary invalid; Renee DiSabella as
Tionette, the imnudent maid; Sybil
