all the clubs and organizations
and began preparing its own bud
get. Nothing earthshattering,
but it did take our time and
efforts to do it. We decided
at this time to post our min
utes and agenda on all bulletin
boards so students would be a
ware of what we were doing.
Obviously, it didn’t work.
You see, when I ran for SGA
president last spring, I pro
mised to keep students informed
of SGA'd activities, and I’m
determined to keep that promise.
When, it was becoming obvious
to me that the posting of min
utes was not enough, I decided
to go before the student body
so that I could tell everyone
about some of the things we’ve
been doing and get some sug
gestions about what you want
done. The result - nobody
shows up. So now, as a last
resort, this letter. I dread
doing this, because I really
don't think it's such a good
idea to just list our accom

on the back,, but, as I said,

put a lot of time into
planning it. The result
we raised over $l4OO dollars,
which wasn't bad, but less
than five students from Penn
State rode in the Bike-a
thon. The rest were all from
Hazleton Area high schools
end junior high schools.
Also in Pall Term, Kim DePue
