Captain, Deby Everett; Mary Ann Barletta, Lynn French, Ginny Lawson, Kathy Ma zuriok, Danadee Miller, Ondie Neifert, Mary Tack, and Theresa Mazurick. Mrs. Jago Is the coach. They won the home game with Del aware Campus in overtime by the score of 42-40. They lost the away game by 44-35* Future games include* 2 games against Schuy kill Campus, 2 against Allentown College and one against Marywood. There will be a home game Febru ary 18 against Allentown. Home games are played at the J.C.C. The biggest event will be the Commonwealth Campus Tournament which will be played February 22 at Scranton Campus. INTRAMURAL BOWLING Fourteen teams partici pate in Intramural Bowling. At the half-way point the Boro Bums are in first place with a score of 17 wins and 3 losses. Members of the team are: Joe Vajda, Kim Reich, Mike Pavlishen, Ben Barnes, Marion Shane, and sub. Dave Berish* The Bea vers are in second place with a 14-6 record and the Strikers are in third with th# score of 13—7• J°® Snead leads all players with a high game of 246 and Joe Vajda runs a close second with a high game of 242. Games are played every Thursday evening at 9:00 at the Bowl Arena. The tournament will last all through winter term. AIR HOCKEY OPEN CHALLENGE Everitt H. Binns, the Dean of Student Affairs, is the reigning air hockey cham pion of the Highacres Air hockey League. Binns is pres ently the winner of 34 straight games on the new air hockey game. He is ex tending a challenge to anyone who feels that he can break Binns' record, with one stip ulation the challenger must supply the quarter. MEN’S BASKETBALL This year is a rebuilding year for the men's basketball team. There are nine freshemen and three sophomores on the team. The starters are: Ed Berge, 6*3" freshman; Joe Feno, 5'10" freshman; Clair Fries, 5'11" sophomre; Bob Gabriel, 6*4" freshman; and Rick Wor man, 6'3" freshman. They're in third place in the Northeastern Division with a 3-4 record. Remaining games include: York, Wilkes-Barre, and Schuylkill. The leading scorer is Rick Worman, a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic, who averages 23 points per game. He is also the leading rebounder averaging 18 rebounds per game. Joe Feno, a M.M.I. graduate, is the second lead ing scorer with 19 points per game. Many stu dents participated and much enthusiast was shown. Mike Romanic and Gary Hunsicker were the only two members of last years team who wrestled. However, the other wrestlers showed good form. Another intramural tourn ament might be held in the fu ture, However, the athletic department has announced that an inter-campus squad will not be possible.
