Seventy—two high school students
and their faculty advisors attended
the Second Annual Journaliali, Workshop
at Highacros on Saturday, 'April 16.
Speakers were kiss Lillian Junas,
instructor of EPglish at the Hazletnn
Cam Pus, kiss Ruth Bergstresser and
Mr.'Leonard Deitch, faculty advisors
to the Hazleton "Mountaineer," Mr.
Dominic Antonelli,'Assistant Editor
of the Hazleton Plain Speaker, Mr.
John Vairo of the Jounalism Depart—
ment of the Penn State University,
and kiss Nancy Bradney, journalism
student at Highacres..
Schools represented were these:
Hazleton High, H. F. Grebey Junior
High ) D. A. Harman Junior High, St.
Gabriels, Foster Township High, Dan—
ville High, TaLaqua High, Hanover
lovnship High, West Hazleton High,
and Black Creek Township High.
William Schneider, assistant

was in charge of arranging the work--
shop.

ANNIVERSARY!? ISSUE FOR MAY
Thanks to the S.G.A. of the
Hazleton Campus there will be a
printed edition of the Highacres
Collegian in kay.
?Fork has begun, but help is
urgently needed. Students who
would care to help with research
articles on the various extra—
curricular activities offered
during the 25 years the Hazleton
Campus has existed, are asked to
see Nancy Bradney immediately.
Also needed are typists and persons
who are familiar with producing
a printed newspaper.
If anyone, faculty, student,
or alumni has any information re—
lating to Highacresis history, he
is asked to submit to to any member
of the staff.
