But when asked, Coach Cowher does not pick one of these games as the best moment of coaching. "I wouldn't consider any of these moments as the best I tloment of coaching," said Cowher. "There is no one specific moment, but a se ries of moment that make the jour ney. It's the ups and downs and seeing everything come together that makes it worthwhile." "Great potential" seems to he the motto for Behrend's cross-country program, but the proof is in the numbers Here is where the num bers show: with their corn bined efforts, both the men's and women's team were able to place in the top five out of a respective 18 teams. Looking hack on last year, the men finished third place out of 15 teams, and would look to repeat their success this year. Of course. they would do just that. The competition at this years invitational was full of nationally ranked teams, including Mount Union (finishing with a 27:12 av erage time), and Case Western Reserve, who av eraged a time of 28:14. For the men, they were able to stay with the pack, finishing with an average time of 28:22. Staying on topic with the men's team, Dennis Lydon led the way with a time of 27:43. This would earn Lydon the title of AMCC Runner of the Week. Keep in mind that Lydon is a freshman runner. Sen ior runner Justin Dipenti had good things to say about hid freshmen team mates. "We have some re ally good freshman that are becoming good contribu tors that will hopefully re place our seniors and make us a lot better than before," said Dipenti.
