The debate was originally scheduled for this past Wednesday, and is now rescheduled for January 21, 2010 at 7:00 pm in Bruno's. According to Josh Snyder, President of College Democ rats, the primary reason the debate was rescheduled was because he and Dan Smith, Vice President of College Re publicans felt that having the debate so close to finals week would negatively affect the students' performances. "We felt that we could have a better event in January then if we held it so close to finals and the end of the semester," says Snyder. . Foreign Language Quote of the Week "La, educacion. no - es para, e# , lieria - r qui, pen.- jar; Ji,no- wpeniar." -Anonymous Message From The Editor: President Obama this week announced that more troops will be sent to fight in the War in Afghanistan. Now whether or not you agree with the war, the deci sion to send more troops, or why our troops are over there in the first place, sup port them. I recently heard on the radio that less than 25% of our troops over there receive mail from their homes. Especially coming into the holiday season, now is one of the best times to support our troops. Send them letters, cookies, emails or whatever else you would like to. But make sure you are there for them. Because as more are leaving, they need our support more than ever. Have a safe and happy holiday season. ADAM FRACASSI Humanities and Social
